Love is in the air! This & That kind-a love anyway. :) Here's a few tips about the kit: Photos When I thought about this kit, I thought having photos of what you love would be important--similar to the Gratitude kit. I also thought it would be a good idea to just reuse those same photos. I mean, after all, you only use them for one month with the Gratitude kit. Why not pull out those same cute photos for another turn? The only difference is the one in the top center. That requires a slightly different size, not to [...]
. . . on the way to the capitol.Okay, so it sounds like it should be a joke . . . and it is kind of funny . . . but it really did happen. So my missionary boy--who's serving an LDS mission in Washington DC--emailed and said that last night they were in the Capitol Hill South area and were going to meet someone at the Metro station. They thought the quickest way from point A to point B was to cut through in front of the capitol. He said there were a bunch of cops and they just walked [...]
Guess what's coming your way later in the week! Can you feel the love? :) Kit is $15. (p.s. still trying to decide if i want that eiffel tower in red. ;) )
Two glorious days of sunshine. Not much in the warmth department, but sunshine nonetheless. mmmmm . . . . . Is it any wonder why this popped in my head? (wishful thinking perhaps?) Download this free butterfly HERE. Comes in GSD/SVG/DXF/JPG/PNG file formats for digital craft cutters and digital scrapbook elements. Have a great--and hopefully--sunshiney weekend!
Over the past week or so I've just noticed some things that have made me happy. Thought I'd write them down. happy . . .about my Mac, and really happy my Mac keyboard. No clankety clank of the PC keyboard. It's almost soothing, if that's possible. lol love the sound.happy . . .that my youngest has a job and can now buy her own clothes . . . and oddly she wants more expensive clothes. note: this is the time to teach her the value of money. she's feeling pretty rich with her first paycheck of $150. i remember those [...]
'lost' marathon. thank you netflix. lost, i've missed you terribly. and jordan said she found it quite addicting too as we watched several episodes last night. welcome to the wonderful world of 'lost' jordan . . . even if it ain't on the air no more.
You can use this kit with your digital craft cutter (Cricut, Silhouette, etc.) as long as you can use the cut files of SVG+DXF. If you are using Cricut, you need to use a program such as Make The Cut (MTC) or Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) to get your computer to talk to your Cricut so it can use the SVG files. You can only use Cricut with the older versions of that software. You can create the project digitally. Refer to THIS POST for information on how to do that. Just like my other This & That kits, due to my current method of [...]
Great googlie mooglie! It's done! Yahoo! Here are a few tips about the kit: Sparkly things. A project about snow has to have some glitter, wouldn't ya think? Therefore, I added a couple of "snowflake" (flower) gems and silver metals to help add a little twink. A couple other great ideas would be to add some actual glitter or even emboss your snowflakes! Because I was running way behind schedule (and partly lazy), I opted not to do that. Stocking cap. This background of the hat is in two pieces and each of the blue stripes will align correctly within [...]
. . . one of those days where nothing goes right?. . . .phone ringing off the hook (out of the ordinary phone calls too). . .. . . 2:00 in the afternoon and still haven't showered . . .. . . all that?Oy!I'm still hopeful to have the Winter kit up today though. I'm just getting pieces cut to put it all together so I can photograph it. I even had sunshine for a while, but so many other things have been interfering with my day and now it's looking inversion-ee (Utahns understand all about that).Doesn't the universe know [...]
