Over the past week or so I’ve just noticed some things that have made me happy. Thought I’d write them down.
happy . . .
about my Mac, and really happy my Mac keyboard. No clankety clank of the PC keyboard. It’s almost soothing, if that’s possible. lol love the sound.
happy . . .
that my youngest has a job and can now buy her own clothes . . . and oddly she wants more expensive clothes. note: this is the time to teach her the value of money. she’s feeling pretty rich with her first paycheck of $150. i remember those days . . .
happy . . .
that my middle loves photography and is good at it. i’m happy to see her get excited about her photo shoots and editing.
happy . . .
that my oldest got his mission release papers and comes home in LESS than three months now.
happy . . .
that i got my winter kit done and so many of you love it. that makes me really happy. :)
happy . . .
that on a moment’s notice me and my bestie can each just be finishing up an errand and be about equal distance from the movie theater at the same time and decide to see a movie on a whim. soooo loved that day!
happy . . .
that the weather went from ten degrees last week to forty+ degrees this week. and even happier that everything is finally starting to melt, including the huge mountains of ice in front of my driveway that i’ve had to traverse over the past few weeks. man, i didn’t think any of this stuff would ever melt!

that i can spend an evening most every weekend on a date with hubby.

that we have netflix and uber happy about watching lost . . . obviously . . .
happy . . .
that i was listening to showtunes on pandora which spurred me to buy some new tunes.

that as i was checking out margie romney-aslett’s blog her playlist started and introduced me to some fun new artists for MORE music to buy.
happy . . .
to share all those with you now. :)
yeah, notice the ‘date added’ and the number of ‘plays’ on those last few. i never listen to them (insert sarcasm here).
what’s making you happy this week?
I'm happy to have finally made a decision that will change my life. Not a huge amount but enough to offer me some silence in my anxious thoughts.
So glad to know you're a happy girl too!
A short term happy for me was sitting down Sunday afternoon/evening to work on my this/that winter and having everything print and cut perfectly! Love the results that I got. Love the kit.
Happy having Jesus in the center of my life (because I don't always make Him the center!!!)
