Holy cannoli! What a great few days we have had! I must say, I’ve been rather spoiled just hanging with all sorts of family and friends–and even more so loving being with my boy! I think we are all beyond exhausted. But we’ve had a fabulous time listening to story after story from Zach. He spoke in church on Sunday–so did Jordan–and they both did wonderfully. Many friends and family came to listen and it was just lovely!

Needless to say, now that the week-long party is over, it’s time to get back to business. I apologize for not answering emails other than orders. I will get to those as soon as I can. I just didn’t want to be tied to the ol’ chair. I was having myself a little home-vaca. Wanted to visit with everyone here. Not to mention there was lots of cooking to do for all the get togethers we had. :)

Been busy putting together a new storyboard kit for ya. Check it out…

So this has a few unique collages. On the vertical kit with the black background, each photo has its own mat in tact. So all photos are still square. I thought this way you could add shadows to the photo/mats if desired.

Then there’s the “Check It Out” template. When you put it together, it looks something like this:

(of course i had to use more of zach’s dc pics ;) )

Each piece is its own layer so you can adjust with color or opacity or remove as you need. I also added a little drop shadow to my title and file folder piece. I changed the Opacity on the title and polka dot background as well.

I love this template because you can take one photo and make it your entire background and have a few little fun odds and ends. And if you’d rather not extend the photo all the way across, you can always draw a rectangle under the polka dots and make it whatever color you want. Or put a piece of another photo there. Whatever. Very flexible. And you’re not limited to black on this or any of the templates. You can change it as needed.

So, I think that about gets me back in the groove for today.

I think I need another vaca from the vaca though.

Ain’t that the way it always is?
