coloring outside the lines

I like to think of myself as someone who ‘thinks outside the box’.
I like doing different things outside the norm or create things that
aren’t necessarily considered mainstream.
I like to march to the beat of my own drum.
 (a very clean drum)
But ‘color outside the lines’?
Ohhhh how I wish I could go there.
As much as I think outside the box, I just can’t color outside those silly lines!
I can’t let myself go.
Things have to be plotted and planned and sketched and neat . . . and . . . and . . .
I was surfing a little this morning and came across THIS VIDEO by Donna Downey.
Now that girl literally colors outside the lines!
I love her complete sense of freedom as she creates her little works of art.
And in this video she shows how to use diecuts within her work of art.
I love creating a page with tone-on-tone diecuts, but she takes this to a whole new level!
You must go watch this!
And if you’re a person that colors outside those lines too?
Lucky you. :)
Does it count that I think about doing something like this? ;)

I so admire people who color out of the lines. I am linear, OCD. What she did was amazing but not what i would spend hours on but she is soooo creative. I am in awe. Loved the font she used and found one similar to download. She cracks me up too. I love to watch the creative process people go through. My video? It would be 20 minutes of staring at the computer with a blank face. And you? You totally color in and out of the box. You have a creative genius mind.

Cori i gather from another comment you made about a cartridge that you have a Cricut. If you get Make The Cuts program you could cut Kerri's stuff on your Cricut. Just saying!

Hey Rhadonda! I don't think you can get MTC or SCAL for Cricut anymore. So Cori, I believe you would have had to have either of those programs already. But I know you've been wanting a Silhouette for quite a while. ;)
