knock, knock

Who’s there?

Ohhhh, that would be JENNIFER MCGUIRE!!! She’s come to paaaaar-tay with us!

And look what she did!!!

[Jen uses shapes from All About You and Borderlines–both on sale Wednesday.]

Did you notice? I love, love loooove how she made the most of her diecuts! Using both the positive and negative space. That is such a fantastic idea!

Now, Jen and I have chatted via email many-a time, but about a year and half ago I had the opportunity to meet her for reals at CHA. She is such a gem! And ohhhh so talented! Love her!

I’m so glad you could come party with us today Jennifer! Gorgeous cards indeed!

Don’t forget!

I’m doing a giveaway in yesterday’s post. I’ll draw a winner tomorrow.

You should also check out Jen’s,  Nichol Magouirk’s & Shari Carroll’s blogs as they are doing giveaways too! And not only that, you have, have, have to see what Nichol made today!!!

And would you believe it, Nichol and I have never met! Some day . . . . :) I did meet Shari, though, at the same time I met Jen. I think they are like peanut butter + jelly those two. Don’t get ’em laughin’! lol They are a hoot!

Isn’t amazing how can you make so many great connections these days through technology?

 Now, what’s happenin’ today?

Gosh. It seems so long ago that I created those kits! Still some of my very favorite shapes in there though. You might remember this digital page I made using the Educationish kit (background, ruler, apple + title). Mixed with a few House of 3 flourishes.

If you’ve never dabbled into the world of digital scrapbooking, you ought to give it a try. It’s actually kind of fun . . . no wasting of cardstock when you change your mind on something either. It’s kind of liberating . . . not that I’d want to do it all the time.

That’s the challenge for today . . . go create something digitally . . . just for fun! :)

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m feelin’ the football fever! I’m not the biggest football fan per se, but it sure brings on that fall flavor, doesn’t it? I miss going to watch Zach play. And this year, I don’t think Dan’s dad will come up to watch the BYU games like he has for years since now they have cable. *gasp* Yes, they’ve finally come into the 21st century.

So all you football crazies out there . . . here’s a kit for you!

Price: $7

Well, I think that sums up today’s party items. But a couple other things, I just want to say thank you so much for the support! Your comments have been amazing! I’m glad you like the new site. It was actually fun to make. And I had a few questions about if I made/designed it, and yep, I did. Didn’t ‘code’ it (yikes!), but I did design it and put it together.

This week is just too fun! LOVE your digi layout! I have MINIMALLY dabbled in digi work – I think I have too much to learn so it gets frustrating – but the options are phenominal!

Great new kit. We don’t have football at our school, too small, but could certainly use some of the phrases for volleyball and softball (our sports). I can now say i own everything you have in your store. (I think) Love your new blog. I am attempting to get one started, a little frightening. Loving this week! Thanks so much.

OH, OH, OH!! You ROCK, girl! I wanted to create a football “This and That” type of tray for the fall, since my kiddos are in college and so we’re a little past the school kit (although it is AWESOME!). These shapes will be PERFECT!! Have I told you lately how much you ROCK?!!? Off to buy!
