in the halloween mood

I am so in the mood to decorate for Halloween! Unfortunately, we lost all our Halloween decorations that were in our downstairs storage due to a leaky kitchen pipe up above. We didn’t know how long the water had been there, so we just threw it away. It wasn’t tons, but enough to where I really don’t decorate for Halloween anymore–and it’s been like four years.

Luckily I have a dear friend, Miss Kristy Banks, who’s a Halloween FANATIC (I mean, seriously…seriously) and she whipped me up a darling fabric banner (like you see on Lisa Bearnson’s blog today). It’s my new inspiration to finally do something about Halloween decorations.

And now I want to do something like what Miss Robyn did!

[Shapes | RIP grave from This + That: Halloween]

How simple and adorable! Love how she embossed the tombstone.

I NEEEEED that sign post! She said she got it at Dear Lizzie (a boutique in Highland). Guess I need to venture up there very soon! :)

Oh, and if you haven’t become a fan of mine on Facebook yet, you might want to do that on account-a I do share sneak peeks from time to time . . . um . . . like today even. :) Here’s the LINK.

Suz, I’m pretty sure that’s an EK Success border punch. I have that one but I am not sure of the name.

To help replenish your Halloween stash here is a link to a great Trick or Treat eye chart that you can just print and frame. It looks adorable and is practically free thanks to the blog,
