So did you all have a wonderful holiday? Did you take a plethora of photos? Need a little help in the getting-’em-scrapped department? Check out what Layle did!
Love the stars with the spatters, mixed with the ‘summertime’ icon and topped with a really big ‘july’. And put it all on some notebook paper?
Here’s what Layle has to say:
A few weeks ago I was working on a mini book for a class I was teaching that included some of my favorite summer photos over the years. As I was looking through literally thousands of photos on my Mac, I came across photos I’d taken of our boys on the 4th of July in 2005. Oh my gosh – that was 8 years ago! To say the boys have grown would be an understatement. They’re so cute and small here. And I say ‘small’ because our oldest is now 15 and stands 6’4″! I added a few of the photos to my mini book and that was that. Or so I thought! Then I saw Kerri’s FUN July 4 set. The cursive words floated around in my head along with the thought of scrapping at least one of those photos from 2005 until I finally created this layout today. The free Summertime icon was the perfect touch to ’round’ out the layout. :)
U.S. friends – I hope you had a great 4th! And took lots of photos. And if you did, make sure to check out the July 4 set – don’t let those photos sit on your camera card or computer for 8 years, like I did, before you get around to scrapping them!
