You know, as I wrote that title, I was just beside myself! We have quite a day in store today!
It’s a life saver.
As I said previously, it can rock your photo world . . . and that’s no lie.
I thought it might be fun today to share some more photos and ‘recipes’ that I used to edit them to see just how many fabulous versions you can make on a photo.
This photo just makes me want to go back to Amsterdam . . . bad. I loved how all the bikes and cars just harmoniously rode together on the streets. That was rush hour. And if you live in Amsterdam and it’s really otherwise, don’t burst my happiness bubble. ;)
As you can see in the After photo, the changes made just added a whole different vibe to the photo. Kind of gave it a more nostalgic look.
Here’s a screen shot of the changes I made:
I’m kind of afraid to know what BAMF stands for on the B+W filter I used (lol), but it’s seriously awesome and probably appropriately named. And you’re thinking to yourself, ‘Wait, that photo ain’t no black+white.’ Well, that’s the beauty of some of these filters . . . you can change the Effect Strength so it only uses a partial part of the B+W filter.
Now let’s take a look at some of that B+W in a whole other way.
New York City. Is there any town more iconic? The energy that resides there–day and night. There’s nothing like it. That’s why I loved changing the look of this photo that I took out of the front window of the bus to this contrasty, grungy, black and white photo. It says NYC to me.
Here’s a look at the changes I made to it. Again, hovering over the Stylets available gives you an instant view of what will happen if you choose it. And the beautiful Rad Lab will allow you to alter various parts of that Stylet.
Last, but not least, here’s an engagement photo of my nephew and his (now) wife.
This was seriously one of the most fun photo shoots I’ve done. It makes it easy when you have a great location combined with two theater people and several . . . ehem . . . ‘costume’ changes.
With this photo I wanted an old + faded vintage look. Rad Lab to the rescue! Just a few clicks and voila!
Again, changes in intensities gets me exactly what I want–just a little slider. It’s so easy. You can see I added Skinny Jeans and unchecked it because it didn’t achieve the look I wanted. I want ‘skinny jeans’ any time I can get, but as a Stylet it just wasn’t workin’ for this photo.
