and the bella blvd + kbs fun continues

Wow! I was so loving all the inspiration shared on both blogs yesterday! I feel so motivated to make something…now if I just had a little time in my pocket. It seems to go so fast, does it not? As I look at this page from Layle, it just makes me think like it was only yesterday when we were doing the ‘Friday Night Lights’ routine with Zach playing football…and it’s been six years now. Six years.

Still baffled at where the time went and now my youngest has graduated too and leaving for eighteen months to Jacksonville. Kind of makes me hope that time goes fast too. ;) Except, I think I’m still only 28, right?

I love the simple and clean design of this page and how the title ‘plays’ such a major role. Throw in a few other elements, and voila! Lovely….just lovely.

Here’s what Layle has to say:

We have two boys that have both played football for the last 4 years.  Would you believe it when I say that although I’ve taken literally thousands of football photos, this is the first football layout I’ve scrapped?!  Seriously!  Bella Blvd’s Making the Team collection was just what I needed to get started scrapping those football photos, especially the paper that I used to cut the word football – it has little footballs all over it – love that.  The chipboard stars just happened to be our school colors, so they were a perfect addition to my layout, along with the blue flag and that darling football flag.  Kerri’s Touchdown cut file was the perfect complement to the Making the Team collection.  Now I’m off to tackle scrapping the rest of the 5,278 football photos….  :)

Oh, and Layle, I think I have about that many photos with just one kid. ;)

Don’t forget to head on over to Bella Blvd’s blog to see all the fantubulous stuff there! And if you haven’t entered to win a gift card in yesterday’s post? You’d best be doin’ that because it ends at midnight tonight!

Love your layout! I’m always drawn to layouts with clean lines that use the “B” side prints and your embellishments are the perfect finishing touch. :)

Great layout. I never had any of these pictures – after one year my son decided football wasn’t for him. thanks for sharing.

Boy, someone in the same position as I am in. Football photos for over 10 yrs and he just finished his junior year. This past season w/o his grandpaw. This is kind of triggering me to get it done. Pls post other ideas. Thanks
