Twelve Days of Christmas  |   Merry Christmas

Day 7. Day 7!

Okay, that’s kind of freaking me out a little bit. I’ve been so absorbed in getting Jordan ready to go on her mission that I really haven’t done a whole lot of shopping. I guess I need to go do that this morning, eh?

Here is the freebie for today. I was feeling very swoosh-ee last night.

And thank you for all your support for my baby leaving the nest yesterday. I thought I’d share one more photo of Jordan and one of her best friends–who happens to be going to Tampa on her mission in February.  They are so close to each other! Kass took the photos, but this is Jordan’s ‘Instagrammed’ version of it.

These two and one other friend sang a song in church during Jordan’s farewell (talk). Another friend happened to record the audio on her phone and so I thought I’d share that with you too. You can listen to it HERE. Jordan is the one that sings primarily on ‘I Know That My Redeemer Lives’ and the two friends primarily sing ‘I Feel My Savior’s Love’. But then they all blend together in different parts. :)

I had hoped to get the three of them to get together before she left so I could record it again with some video, but alas, we just didn’t have time.

Have a lovely day!

Thanks for all the freebies, but thanks for sharing your daughters music the most. I really enjoyed the song, it put a smile in my heart for the day. I wish her a wonderful experience in her mission.

Thanks for the swooshes – perfect for my mom! And I know just what you mean about shopping – plus, I’ve gotta make a “lightly lined” fleece blanket (queen bed sized with college logo fleece) for my son. He popped in for a few days after exams and all my focus was on getting ready & then hanging out with him. Now I’ve gotta get moving to get caught up, huh?

PS Thank you for this swoosh-ee sentiment. You make beautiful swooshes!

Cool Yule thing- hanging the ornaments. My kids are 17, 15, 6, 5 and every year I have bought them an ornaments that reflects something going on in the life’s (personality wise or accomplishment wise). Their ornaments have total taken over our tree. Each one has a story to go with it and I cry happy tears every year and we laugh a lot to.
