ahhhhh, white on white….

….my all-time favorite.

I’m a huge white background fan, but make it white on white?

Nichol is sooooo speaking my language here.
Take a look!

[ DesignsMerry & Bright (title) / Snowflake, Etc. (snowflake) / Christmas Countdown (snowflake) / December Additions: The Extras (tag, snowflake) / Here Comes Santa Claus (snowflake) / Holly Jolly Christmas (snowflake)  This+That: Christmas Past (snowflake) / This+That: Winter (two snowflakes) / Background Basics ]

Absolutely delightful! Love all the snowflakes and all the tiny touches. Pour over this lovely thing and notice every single detail.

Here’s what Nichol has to say:

I am currently having a love affair with the look of white on white in my paper crafting and when I set out to scrapbook this photo card from almost nine years ago and had trouble finding the right color “fit” it suddenly dawned on me how elegant a white page might be to really make the photo take center stage. I couldn’t keep just a plain white cardstock background, though, so I die cut one of Kerri’s Background Basics designs at 12″ square and layered the die cut cardstock on top of the same color of background cardstock for a subtle background tone-on-tone texture. Then I die cut a bunch of tags from white and the hole reinforcements from a light beige and set to adding snowflakes die cut from patterned papers to each tag. Embellishments in silver and gold complete the snowflakes a to make my title really POP I die cut it 5x from the beige cardstock and layered them one right on top of another for a dimensional, almost chipboard looking title. The end result just may be one of my favorite pages of all time!

Me too, Nichol. Me too. :)
