always love

Sometimes you just don’t need a photo to share your thoughts and feelings. It’s a decorative journal of sorts, and I love that! And Laura has done just that here. She made a list of things that she loves and incorporated them beautifully onto this page! I think I ‘love’ your list too Laura. :)

( psst. The February Fourteen kit is on sale this week..
Just thought I should point that out. ;) )

I love the two tones of circle backgrounds here…not to mention the tiny intermittent touches Laura includes within those circles. It just gives it a whole different customized look! Fabulous my dear!

Here’s what Laura has to say:

With Valentine’s Day sneaking up on us, I was in the mood to create some sort of “love” themed layout. I thought I would do something a little different than a normal love layout, and created an all-about-me type of layout without any photos. I often do photo-less layouts when it comes to all-about-me layouts, and I love that it really lets you “play” and have fun with the page, while not worrying about fitting in photos or trying to match them to your products.

I started out with my favorite circle background from the Background Basics kit, this time cutting it from blue dotted patterned paper and white cardstock, so that I could split my page in half. This gave me one side of the page for my title and embellishments and one side of the page for my journaling. Because I had quite a few patterned papers that I wanted to include on the page, I used the circle ring cut from the This & That School kit to cut circles of varying sizes from the different papers and then pieced the inner circle and the rings together using different papers.

And if you haven’t been over to Laura’s blog lately, you need to go check out the page she made just for fun–no assignment required. When you scrapbook for work, it’s a rare thing indeed to get to scrap a page you want to do without a specific product in mind. It’s quite liberating. :)
