Alright, so that’s goodie number one. How’s about a little of this now. There’s only maybe two or three times a year when the class freebies are for sale for those who don’t need to take any of the classes. And this week would be just such a time!

First the new kits. These kits are called Radials and come in two different color schemes.

After all these years, Studio still does not have a Radial Gradient. There are only Linear styles of gradients. Those are good….they are fun…but I love what a Radial gradient can do for designs. It can either give it a darker edge, or enhance the center and move outward. Additionally, Studio does not have the ability to make Transparent an option for the color scheme. And by that I mean, it can’t fade out–or in–to a transparency, it has to be a color.

So until the day arrives, here’s some fun options for you to play with. I know I’m going to have so much more fun designing myself!

Here’s a couple of things I was playing with–one of which uses the new one-day only freebie!

As you can see, the radial helps create a whole different dimensional look….which I love!

It comes in these three color choices, but also comes in a black PNG as well as cut files so that you can bring it into Studio and use it in whatever color scheme you’d like–mixing it with radials if it tickles your fancy. And because it comes in a cut file, you can also cut the image and do something like this.

Believe it or not, that baby is only 3 1/2″ wide. I like to test my Silhouette whenever possible. :) I was pretty darn impressed!
