Last week there were some fun new designs released for the big National Scrapbook Day week. (Can I say that? …Day week. Sounds weird.)
To see it all come to life already just has me simply delighted….especially all done up in Layle fashion. Take a look.
Just loving the heart overlay from the Magicalness kit combined with the Over The Moon phrase in ombre and and completed with sprinkles of hearts in different dimensions and colors.
Absolutely divine. I’d say I’m over the moon for it. :)
Here’s what Layle has to say:
Seems like every time I sit down to work on a project with Kerri’s cut files that I am gushing. And yep, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’m doing it again. The overlays in the Magicalness kit (don’t you just love that word?!) are just that, magic! So very easy to work with and so fun. The fact that you can adjust the opacity of the designs to suite them to your own needs – even better. I used the hearts from this kit to overlay over a recent photo of my husband and me; we’ve been married for 19 years this month! As soon as I saw the ‘over the moon’ sentiment from the Out of This World kit, I knew I would use it with this photo. I cut the sentiment from a piece of ombre patterned paper – that was a big step forward for me, 99% of the time my cuts are black, so it was fun to step out of the box a bit on this one!
I think I need to find some of that ombre paper too. That looks like so much fun! I’m with you Layle–titles are usually in black or white. Needing to step out of my box as well. I even bought some patterned paper yesterday. Now I just need to challenge myself to use it.
