We are on day four…day four…of our Simple Stories and KBS team up. We’ve seen some amazing things and every day I look forward to what’s being shared on both blogs! Some crazy talented people, wouldn’t ya say?
And today is no exception with this page from Miss Laura!
There is so much eye candy goin’ on here, I don’t even know where to begin! Love the frame cut from the word paper. The sunburst with flecks of mist. The mix of the wood grain chipboard letters with the cut title–and how the ‘h’ wraps around the ‘m’. The list goes on and on!
Fabulous job, Laura! So much fun!
Here’s what she has to say:
When I sit down to create my layouts for Kerri, I usually get so caught up in incorporating her amazing cut files into my page design that I often times don’t end up including many embellishments or “extras” on my pages. The Simple Stories collections have so many fun embellishments, pocket page style cards, and even die cut cards that coordinate with their collections, and I found so many different elements that I wanted to include on my two page spread. I started by cutting two large sunbursts, using Kerri’s This+That Freedom kit, from white cardstock. I lightly spritzed them both with yellow misting spray, and then adhered them to my white cardstock background pages. I love the white-on-white backgrounds for building my pages on. I printed several photos in 3×3″ and 3×4″ sizes, and adhered them across the two pages, mixing in 3×3″ and 3×4″ cards from the Good Day Sunshine collection from Simple Stories.
And now, we’ve been seeing quite a grouping of pages coming from the Good Day Sunshine kit this week on both blogs.
So like, who would like to win one?
(I think that’s a rhetorical question, yes?)
Those wonderful people at Simple Stories have given me
THREE kits to give away!
Can you say yummy?!
Here’s a bazillion ways for you to get a chance to win.
(okay, a bazillion may be an exaggeration. ;) )
I’ll draw a winner Saturday morning!
