This is my motto that I pretty much live by.
I don’t take anything for granted and enjoy even the smallest of things or moments.
It’s what I feel creates a happy life because you’re always appreciating….well….everything.
Perspective is key to a happy life.
And that’s why I love this page from Layle that showcases her backyard and the peacefulness it brings to her. I can relate to that. Okay, not my backyard because the dog owns it, but I have other places that do the same thing for me.
I love the lines of the titles and the photos and the circles here.
And the odd circle backed by some patterned paper.
It’s just lovely.
Here’s what Layle has to say:
If you’ve been following Kerri’s blog for a while, it’s no secret that I love her word cut files, especially the hand written ones! I used the Find Joy in the Ordinary phrase on this layout because it’s something we should all remember to do on a daily basis. These photos are from our backyard – it’s such a nice, quiet, peaceful place to be. I always try to take a few minutes every day in the summer to sit outside and enjoy it. I paired that phrase with the circle background. I wanted the background to blend in, so it cut it in white and then mounted on white cardstock with pop dots – lots of little pop dots! I like the look of the tone on tone, raised look. To finish it off, I used one of the circle insides to trace some circles and tuck them under the circle background.
I’m finding joy in this page Layle…although I’d say it’s extraordinary. :)
