Maggie Massey is still here at the KBS house and is sharing some delicious stuff for ‘breakfast.’ :)
Take a look at this yummy album!
I think the way Maggie incorporated the Tiny Details cards is genius! Love how she made a flip card with them! And I also adore the way she cut the giant number outlines and overlaid them onto her photos. It’s just fan-freakin’-tastic!
Here’s what Maggie has to say:
I absolutely adore the “Tiny Details” cards…so I sized them to 5″ high and printed out the ones I wanted to use for my project. I journaled on the backs of each card and added them to my photos with washi tape…creating little doors over part of each of the photos.
I cut the “Find Joy in the Ordinary” title with my Silhouette and cut off the “Find Joy” from the rest to use as my album title. I embossed these words with some white embossing powder to make them a little more sturdy…and then I added them to a piece of vellum.
For me, the best part of using digital files in my work is that I can change the sizes, shapes & colors of the elements I use. I mean, really? Is there anything better than being able to use the designs you love over and over in a million different ways?
Thank you so much for coming on over to my house Miss Maggie and sharing your talents.
It’s been absolutely delightful having you here!
