I think the way Maggie incorporated the Tiny Details cards is genius! Love how she made a flip card with them! And I also adore the way she cut the giant number outlines and overlaid them onto her photos. It’s just fan-freakin’-tastic!

Here’s what Maggie has to say:

I love making albums and pages that include photos of my kids and their favorite things “right now.” They love looking back on these projects and seeing just what they were loving at the time…(and they often can’t believe they actually liked what they liked…). For this little album I found photos I took of each of the kids on the 4th of July. I added their ages directly onto each photo using the Weathered Door Alphabet and then printed them out at 5″x5″.

I absolutely adore the “Tiny Details” cards…so I sized them to 5″ high and printed out the ones I wanted to use for my project. I journaled on the backs of each card and added them to my photos with washi tape…creating little doors over part of each of the photos.

I cut the “Find Joy in the Ordinary” title with my Silhouette and cut off the “Find Joy” from the rest to use as my album title. I embossed these words with some white embossing powder to make them a little more sturdy…and then I added them to a piece of vellum.

For me, the best part of using digital files in my work is that I can change the sizes, shapes & colors of the elements I use. I mean, really? Is there anything better than being able to use the designs you love over and over in a million different ways?
