As you may have heard, this last week I spent the week with my dear friends Lisa Bearnson and Kristy Banks and our girls camping….uhhhh….I mean glamping up in the wilderness (*ehem* five minutes from civilization) up past Midway, Utah. It was a lovely little spot and we had a grand ol’ time playing games and talking and eating and even staying an extra day.
Last year we made these sweatshirts, and so I thought it only appropriate that we continue our shirt-making tradition this year. Last year we used the iron-on transfer, but this year I thought I’d try my hand at silk screening. I will share all these details in tomorrow’s post, but that was the catalyst for this kit….of which I’m very excited to use for recording our trip!
There are seventeen sets of images to play with–and they can go beyond the scope of camping too. You could also have a little fun by taking the ‘That’s Called Nature’ and turning it into a Print+Cut, printing the words and cutting the leaves. Or take it one step further and cut the word ‘Nature’ too! They could look something like this:
I think that would be such a cool element on a page…or Project Life, even!
And now, for the 2.99-er sale items!
Remember, these are on sale for today only.
I was continuing on after my happiness of last week and picked a few kits that kind of revolved around the whole escape/happy theme. In other words…happiness.
Here’s hoping you have a happy day too! :)
