Once upon a time three little girls set out over hill and dale to a quaint little town called Midway. In this town they celebrated the days of Swiss with food and goods a-plenty. In one such place, under the shade of the trees, the three little friends found a beautiful place of silver and gold. Not only was the silver and gold sparkly and dreamy, but it had special meaning.
Many of the round discs of metal had fingerprints embedded into the shiny metal.
“Oh what a glorious idea!”, said the three little girls.
Three months later, the one little girl needed such a beautiful piece of jewelry for some special friends and she called the Queen of Tallulah-land to request such jewelry. The queen was incredibly sweet and kind. The one little girl was grateful for the special care in which the queen helped the little girl and wanted to share in the good fortune for the coming Christmas season.
Alas, the queen and the little girl decided that a bit of silver should belong to a fair maiden in the land of Bradford.
What is the gold and silver, say ye? Here is just a sampling.
Like I said, I actually saw these up close and personal and they were beautifully done. I thought they’d make an amazing Christmas gift for a new mother of her baby’s tiny finger, a grandfather’s print for a keepsake for grandmother, a print of a military husband for his wife, or just one of your husband’s for yourself …so many great ideas.
These are also amazing for those that lose a loved one.
How it works is, when you purchase from her site, she sends you a kit of to use to take a fingerprint impression, the epoxy–or whatever the compound is–hardens to create the mold and you send it back to her to construct the jewelry.
Another amazing idea is to take the note of a loved one–especially if they’ve passed on–and you can have a necklace made with a sentiment they’ve written.
I’m just in awe. How would you like to have a handwriting by your mother who had passed in the form of jewelry…always saying ‘I Love You.’
What a treasure.
Okay, so this last one cracks me up.
Can you guess what kind of a print it is?
To look at it, I wouldn’t have a clue.
But for all you animal lovers out there? It’s a dog’s nose print.
So today Tallulah Boutique and I are celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas with a giveaway of a fingerprint necklace!
Here’s how you can enter:
And now for today’s one-day-only freebie.
A fun title for photos on decking your halls.
And boy do I need my halls decked. I haven’t even started yet. Maybe this weekend.
This is no longer available as a freebie, but you can get it in the store HERE.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better…
Check out what’s new in the store.
If you follow me on social media…you just knew this had to be done, right? Kass needed an envelope like this for a school (university) project. Check out my Facebook or Instagram if you want to read about it.
This particular tearaway envelope is a little different than those in the Signed.Sealed.Delivered. kit and it has been sized to perfectly fit a gift card. Of course you could use it for other things as well.
But check out how adorable they are printed and cut!!
And in case your counting the la, la, la’s, yes, I know that there was a dyslexic moment with my L’s and A’s. It’s correct in the kit.
Of course you can do whatever you’d like with it. You don’t have to use the text. I also included a rectangle that’s the same size as the text so that if you needed a frame of reference for creating a pattern or set of words, then it would be there.
Day 5. Pretty awesome, right?
Are we having fun yet? :)
