Minc + Transparency + Frame = Gorgeousness

Can I just say how much I’m loving my Minc from Heidi Swapp? There are just too many possibilities and it’s all just so much fun…and shiny!

I needed a little birthday gift for my bestie not too long ago. So I printed of the PNG version of the Find Joy In The Ordinary cut file and took it to my local copy center to put it onto a transparency. I had also added a rectangle around the image that was the size of the frame so that not only I knew exactly where to set my image, but would also know exactly where to cut the image away.

No guessing!

love that.

Then it was time to bring it home and heat it up with some foil. And look at this beauty!

Can I just say there is something completely thrilling when pulling that slice of gold away from the design below?

Then all I needed to do was plop it into this glass frame from Target and voila! A completely personal and unique handmade gift.

It’s a good thing I printed two of these (just in case) because I now I want one for my home!

Love this but I have a question. You said you put it in a transparency and then print it on it. Did you leave the words on the transparency or scratch to the glass?

You just leave the words on the transparency. They get all nice and shiny with the Minc foil. :)
