It’s true! Christmas in July has come to KBS! The more I’ve been in this business–and more importantly–the more I’ve had my own business, I’ve been amazed at how many people start preparing for Christmas now. Hello? Hobby Lobby even has their Christmas stuff out in June!

So this week it’s all about getting ahead in the game, or, getting caught up from last year’s Christmas memory keeping festivities, like me. :) And to help you get ready, of course there’s a sale all this week through Sunday!

All the Christmas downloads can be found HERE.

To start off our merriment, we have two brand new stamp sets available!

That tree is my total favorite of them all. I’ve been having some fun with those! If you’ve follow me on Facebook or Instagram you’ll have seen some of the things I’ve been making. I will be sharing them a little later here on the blog. Today, it’s all about what Layle has done with these babies! Get ready to have your Christmas stockings knocked off!  (Okay, so maybe they’re not on yet…but you get the idea.)

Take it away Layle!

Christmas in July?  Yes ma’am!  As hot as it was outside when I was working with Kerri’s new Christmas stamps, I have to be honest – I was soooo tempted to turn on the Christmas music!  These stamps were so much fun to play with.  I’m always amazed at how my creativity seems to flow when working with Kerri’s products, and this time was no different!

When the holidays roll around, I’m always scrambling at the last minute for a gift tag or card to tie to a bottle of wine or a present.  I’m happy to say that this year, the scrambling won’t exist.  Not only will I have 5 pre-made gift tags waiting in the wings, but these were so quick and easy to put together that I can easily make more on the fly, and even alter the designs slightly for cards!

This first tag was all about those cute trees!  I outlined them with a black pen, stamped the sentiment and then sprayed the tag with Thermoweb gold Glitter Dust; such a fun, sparkly touch!

When I saw the star stamp, I knew right away that I wanted to use it as a background; I stamped with platinum ink and then used the same ink to color the wood veneer star.

The list of reindeer names – LOVE!  I used a gold glitter deer sticker on my tag, but if you wanted to mass produce for gift tags or cards, you could use the deer cut file in this Happy Camper set.  I stamped the 25 in red ink, and then carefully stamped only the ‘December’ word in green ink, from the stacked list of holiday words.

I swear, each time I finished a tag, it was my favorite – then came the next one & my new favorite!  This tag needed a little something extra after I stamped the wreath, so I added a red enamel dot and stamped ‘be merry’ below.  The twine topped off with a jingle bell did the trick!

The last tag came together super quick – a strip of plaid washi, a chipboard piece and the ‘merry christmas’ stamp.  Sigh…. I love Kerri’s script :)

So there you have it!  Come December, I’m ready for gift giving.  And I have to tell you, this is by far the earliest I’ve ever been ready for that.  Now I just have to buy the presents…. :)

Oh Miss Layle…these are just perfection! And so quick! I don’t know if I can pick a favorite either…seriously….I love them all.

This is truly what this week is all about. Getting ahead of the game. I can’t tell you how many times fall rolls around and I have great intentions of getting things done, but time just runs out! (We won’t talk about the fact I haven’t gotten Christmas cards out in like three years.) Summer seems to be more lazy with no schedules and school and activity craziness. It really is a perfect time to prepare.

It’s going to be a grand week, so be sure to tune in every day!
