We’ve seen some gorgeous tags from Miss Layle and Miss Nichol using the brand new KBS stamps. But what if you’re not a stamper and want take tag-making down to simple printing?
Well take a look at these lovelies from Miss Maggie and here what she has to say!
I looooove me some black and white!
Take it away darlin’!
The Christmas season is just 5 months away! Now, I know that may seem like a long time from now…but really, with the way time has been flying (at least for me) lately, we’re closing in on crunch-time people.
Come November I usually have high hopes of starting (and finishing!) all my Christmas projects…cards, gifts, decor etc…and then long about the beginning of December I realize that most of what I’ve had planned in my mind just isn’t going to get done…and I’m always really disappointed in myself for not doing what I had originally set out to do.
But this year I’m planning ahead. This year I’m taking care of some of the stuff that usually gets pushed to the side when the holidays roll around.
Now, to me, presentation is everything. I LOVE a pretty package…love. And I love to give pretty packages. But when the time is ticking down to the “big day” and I still haven’t started wrapping, I will admit that I usually end up just throwing some paper on a present and writing the recipients name in black Sharpie (don’t judge).
Not gonna happen this Christmas, though. Because I’ve already taken care of part of my gift decoration. And it took me just a few hours. I downloaded both the Black+White Christmas & Holiday Labels files and set to work creating some fun tags and stickers for this year’s gifts and cards.
For the white Black+White Christmas tags, I created a little tag shape in my Silhouette software and added some of the .png files. Then I used the Print & Cut feature of the machine and cut out my tags. The black tags required even less work…I simply printed and cut the 3×4 cards that come in the file. Whaaaaat? I know! So easy!
The Holiday Labels were even easier…Print & Cut these on sticker paper! Done and done.
I made a whole bunch of these darling little tags and stickers. And now all I have to do is pop one on a gift or on the back of a card and I’ve got a beautiful gift.
Now I have no excuse not to give a pretty package this Christmas…all thanks to just a few hours of work now.
