I love keeping memories in my travel journal. Love the blank canvas. I’ve been a white background girl for many years and this format is so up my alley.
But just because I love that blank (neutral) canvas, doesn’t mean I don’t like splashing a bit of color. In fact, that’s why I love the blank canvas–because it makes that splash of color, photos and journaling shine.
And my girl Marcy? She does this in most excellent fashion in the neutrals kraft and white.
Take a look.
Let’s hear what Marcy has to say:
I decided to create a thin notebook specifically for memory keeping. I just haven’t been able to swing using more than one notebook so putting this in my TN is hopefully going to be a good fit.
To assemble my notebook I mixed up kraft paper, white paper and vellum into a booklet form and then stapled it together. I keep this notebook loose in my TN so that I can take it out easily.
I’m really excited to start working on these pages here and there. I imagine that most days it might be just words and some stamps, but every now and then maybe it’ll turn into something more.
You know my motto: keeping it simple, getting it done.
And using pretty paper swatches and stamps are perfect for doing just that.
