Commercial Licensing

It’s that time of year when many of you start getting all holiday crafty and many of you want to sell those homemade crafts at local boutiques and fairs.

So much fun!

And I thank you so much for those of you who want to use KBS designs for those crafts. Wow.

I have to say that, hands down, Jingle All the Way has been the most popular craft for both personal and [limited] commercial over the past four years since it came out.

With all this in mind, I’ve been a little busy over the weekend. I felt rather productive not only sprucing the Home page back up (after switching hosting sites it got messed up), but I now have Commercial Licensing options appearing under some products so you don’t have to email and ask for them anymore.

Okay, so if there isn’t one yet on an item you want, email me or comment here and I’ll be sure to get it added. :) It’s gonna take a while to get one added to every product, but I’m starting with some of the popular ones and Christmas items, since that’s what’s hot right now.

I also appreciate greatly those of you who have emailed to ask for a license for art you want to use to make crafts for sale. It means so much, truly. Even when licensing options were available in the old store, I found that many people still did not adhere to the terms of purchasing art here and still sold items created without a commercial license. I even had a major corporation outright steal my art and use it in holiday items for sale in their chain stores. I can’t tell you how disheartening that is.

But I’ll just leave it at that.

loooove to create art that you all enjoy using. I’m honored when you want to sell items made with it and whole-heartedly support it! I know what it’s like to be a small business, especially a business where you can make some money by working from home. I applaud that like you’ll never know.

So if you have questions on what commercial licensing at KBS is all about, check out the Support/Licensing link above. To sum it up, it is intended for the small business crafter.

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! And please share your creations. I always love seeing what you all are making. :)

I have loved the reversible tray since it first came out. I’ve been trying to get my brother in law, who has a woodworking business to make the tray and then sell these in his boutiques. Love this design. Thanks for your artistic genius!

Ooooh, that would be awesome to have someone who could make the trays for you! What a great idea!
