Time to share my thoughts on a couple books I’ve read recently. What She Knew by Gilly Macmillan and Origins by Dan Brown.

Let’s start with Dan Brown’s, Origins.

I was super excited when I found out this was coming out as a new book in October. I love the Robert Langdon series and Dan Brown always writes an adventurous, plot-twisting book. This book was no exception. The only part about these books that I’m not keen on is the endings when they go on and on with explanation. And this one had a somewhat ‘far out’ explanation. It’s just a story. I just kind of went with it. I liked most of it–just not the big finish.

Next up is What She Knew.

I have checked this book out of the online library three times before I finally got it read. I remember having it when we went to Hawaii in March even. I don’t know why I never got into the book originally (probably time and other priorities), but once I finally did, I loved this book! Couldn’t put it down. I’d read a couple of mysteries prior and enjoyed them for the most part, but this one, to me, was soooo good. It’s about a boy that gets kidnapped while with his divorced mother in the woods near a park. The twists and turns keep you reading and not wanting to put the book down. Truly. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. It’s a must read in my (ehem) book. :)
