Okay, so I like them big and narrow. Is it just me or do the photos you see in Instagram Stories just seem so much more impressive than seeing it in a square? The crop factor just makes it so amazing! Of course, I do follow a few ‘travel’ type websites, so they really have the wow factor in that perspective.

I think that’s why I love the TN size. I love that tall and narrow format. And throw in a photo of the same size? Oooh, gives me goosebumps…just like what you see here in Miss Marcy’s travelers notebook spread.

The other thing I looooove about this photo is the white space! I never can seem to remember to do white space and the look is amazing! So artistic. And Marcy is the queen of white space. I love her photography!

The other amazingness of this is the stamping. Love This combined with journaling? Yeah. Winter Wonderland stamped and trimmed to offset on the kraft? Perfection. All these tiny little subtleties that make this spread so beautiful!

Here’s what Marcy has to say:

Sometimes there’s just photos that need to be full sized.  Usually that’s a photo that has a lot of nice white space at the top so I can embellish and/or journal there.  This time I stamped and journaled on a tag because I just didn’t want to mess up my photo.  I balanced the large photo on the left with some journaling and simple stamping on the right.

And I just have to smile because many times I don’t read what my team has to say before I do my write up. I like to write about what stands out to me. Low and behold–the girl that shares my brain–would of course feel the same way about what she put together.

love her. :)

Okay, so I’m challenging myself and all of you to take a photo with white space and use it. I’m gonna have to write it in my TN Fundamentals Planner because surely I’ll forget. haha
