Day 11 | Words Are The Best Element

I’ve said it a bazillion times (okay, maybe not a bazillion, but close), words are truly my favorite element. They are the perfect way to accent your page while ‘saying’ more about your page.

What can be better than that? If a photo speaks a thousand words, at least more words can help it along, right?

So when I saw this final project from our holiday guest, Kim Jeffress, I was in heaven! Words everywhere!

perfection.

I don’t even know where to begin. Just look at all that eye candy! All the details. The mix of different types of words.

sigh.

Here’s what Kim has to say:

Hi everyone I am thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing a sneak into my December count down album. This year I am using a Heidi Swapp Instax album. I am loving the smaller photos and cards. The Happy Christmas clear  stamps are the perfect size to embellish cards on my pages and then they can be slipped into the pockets.

On my first page I  used the Subway Art printable and decreased the size and printed it of to be the size of an instax photo. I layered over an Instax glittered frame and then slipped it into my album.

I then repeated  the process with one of the Elf Culture printables and slipped it into my album. It is the perfect accent  to my Elf on the shelf photo.

I added some more stamping below my wood veneer word and page one was done.

For page 2 I trimmed one of the Ali Edwards journaling cards to fit the pocket and added some more stamping this time from the Deck the Halls set set using black and red ink to the card. I love the pop of red on the yellow.

Finally I added the stamped words Happy Christmas from the Happy Christmas  set to accentuate the Hello on the instax card. I added my journalling then trimmed a notch and adhered it over a photo to create a flap for a hidden photo.

You are so speakin’ my language, Miss Kim!
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us here this holiday season!

And now for today’s freebie–Santa’s Calling Card.

I Minc’d mine in silver, but I sooo wanted to Minc it in red! I thought I had it and was so excited to do it only to find out I had just about every other color than red. Dang! The card is really cute in red, as you can see in the store.

Oh well. It’s cute in silver too. :)

More words for the books.

my fave.
