And So The Adventure Begins

Hello 2018!

Can you even believe we are here already?!

After having a rather strange year last year–with little going as planned, I’m looking forward to this brand new year with new creative adventures. The ideas are swirling in my head. :)

As part of this exciting new year–and because I finally got my new iPad Pro 10.5 (yay!), I decided to do a Phrase A Day all through January and test out some writing skills as I learn about this new software, Procreate, and each new phrase will find its way into the store. You can find this image HERE.

Soooo, how would you like to be a part of this Phrase A Day? If there is a phrase you’d love to see in this fashion, comment…email…somehow share your thoughts with me and if I write it, you’ll get the image for free.

I’m excited about the possibilities with my new iPad. The handwriting and style work a little differently than what I’ve been accustomed to for the past six years, but it’ll be fun to explore new hand-lettering styles and get creative in a different way!

Happy New Year everyone!

    Love is in the details.

As a card maker, I keep looking for phrases that can be used to communicate comfort/sympathy etc from a GROUP to a hurting person. EX: Like a church group wanting to encourage someone who’s child is in the hospital, or spouse had to be placed in nursing home etc. Or a group from work wanting to encourage a co-worker who’s off work due to some physical emotional challenge. “Sending prayers your way” can actually sound kind of flippant (unintentionally of course) in lots of difficult situations. So I would LOVE a collection of phrases with versions of wording like:

    We miss you so much
    We are praying for you
Sending hugs and prayer for you /your family
Know that you are in our prayers today
    You’ve been on our hearts
Things are not the same without your smile
We hope you feel better soon

Sorry for the novel – just a few of the phrases that I keep wishing I had. Not meaning to start the new year out on a downer! LOL

How about Philippians 4:4: Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say, rejoice!

Another’s heart is a rare and precious gift. Hold it gently with both hands.
