Oh my goodness you guys. Spring is springing here! So many trees with white flowers, pink flowers, green leaves…they are popping out all over the place.
It’s a beautiful time of year. Of course, it is suppose to snow on Friday. What??
That’s spring for ya. Filled with snow and spring breaks….elsewhere. ;)
And right around the corner is summer. I can’t even believe that! In about six or seven weeks it’ll be time for our annual girls camp with my dearest friends and our daughters. One of my favorite times of the year.
Alas, one daughter is now living in California and spending much of her time at the beach. She’s been begging us to come down…she’s only been there almost a month. ;) But time at the beach sounds lovely, doesn’t it?
Lots of fun vacation moments are going to need documenting. Are you ready? Need some ideas?
Check out what our lovely Melissa has done in her travelers notebook for her beach memories!
My goodness gracious. This is divine! Love how she framed her photos with stamp images! And that tag? swoon. Okay so when I made the stamp, it never occurred to me to make a tag kind of in the same layout of the images. Brilliant.
Oh, and I love the you are here stamp next to her date and location information. That’s a cute way to bring attention to it.
Let’s see what she has to say about this project:
The start of shorts, flip flops and days spent in the water has begun for us. We are an outdoor family and I love that Kerri’s stamps are all about the outdoors. From the mountains to the beach she’s got you covered.
For this project (left): I framed two square photos with a bunch of fun beach theme sentiments and added some other sentiments at the bottom as prompts for my journaling. This was done digitally but can be done just as easily with the physical stamp set. I attached a simple ‘favorite moment’ tag down at the bottom right with my tiny attacher.
For the right side I used a full size 5″x8.5″ photo with some digital stamps and journaling down at the bottom. Again, with white ink this step can also be done with the physical stamps.
Using kraft paper, I made the tag by stamping on the front and adding some ephemera on the back. This tag acts mostly as a fun embellishment for the spread.
Melissa definitely has it goin’ on with her TNs!
