November.

How did we get here already? It’s an amazing month, is it not? It’s a time where we especially focus on gratitude–this time around Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s a time for family and friends. And it’s a time for thinking of home.

And that’s how today’s stamps, Home, came to be.

I think one of my favorite lines in this set is: together is all i want. It’s something I say frequently. I love being with my family. It’s all I ever want.

I am so freakin’ thankful for this simple little part of my world.

And speaking of freakin’ thankful, check out this So Freakin’ Thankful mimi-album Melissa created with the Home stamps.

This November, being the month of Thanksgiving, I decided to use Kerri’s new ‘Home‘ stamp set for a ‘thankful’ album. This stamp set is so versatile it can be used for so much.

I made my mini album using scraps and tags in varying sizes, keeping them together with a simple ring at the top.

My intention is to list some things that I am thankful for, I may or may not add a picture(s), depending on what the occasion of the day is.

I started on a couple “foundation pages” to give you an idea of where I’m headed with this project. I created a folder with some craft paper, keeping it together with some hand stitching. I stamped some sentiments on the folder. Tucked a tag in to the folder, which I also stamped on, and that is where I’ll type my words. I will also be adding a few pictures in the folder.

The next page is simple, which is always my intention with my story telling. I layered a couple pieces of scrap paper. I stamped some sentiments to the top and bottom of the card and I’ll just run that through my typewriter when the time comes.

I’ve inspired you to create something fun. I can’t wait to see what you create with this awesome stamp.

Oh my…this is perfection! Love the colors. Love the simplicity. Love how clean it all is.

gasp!

Now I want to make one for my own little family.
Or maybe Melissa can make me one. ;)

Now what is your favorite part of this time of year?
