We are gonna fill your day here with some Holiday Cheer–via the freebie as well as the merriest page you’ve ever seen from Miss Sheree using one of the five cheerful phrases from today’s one-day freebie.
Everyone say it with me….Oh…Em…Gee!
(That stands for Oh My Goodness in my book. ;) )
I don’t even know where to begin. Would it be the color choices? The patterned paper behind the letters? The little splashes of Bundle Up stamping? The antlers that Sheree is wearing in her photo?
This page just screams cheer! It also makes me think of peppermint ice cream which just makes it all the more delightful.
Here’s what Sheree has to say:
I couldn’t wait to play with the cut files from the new Holiday Cheer set! I chose “Falalalala” as the title for my layout and used my Silhouette to cut the piece from plain white cardstock. After choosing a mix of Christmas themed papers and glittered cardstock, I then flipped the cut file over and traced around the inside of each word onto the back of the different papers with a pencil before cutting them out by hand and adhering behind the cut file for a colourful, fun title.
The rest of the page was put together using chipboard pieces, stickers and die cuts. I positioned my journaling strips underneath the photo, then added two stamps from the Bundle Up Stamp set as the perfect finishing touch.
Now let’s see Sheree put it all together, shall we?
And I need to make one little note. After Sheree made her video and I saw her make her own pieces to back the Fa La La, I decided to go ahead and add those to the kit. So, when you go to recreate this little work of art, you won’t need to trace like she did (albeit a brilliant idea). There are backings for each word now. :)
