Oh you guys…you are having some fun with the new stamps! So many are going to find a new home. That’s exciting!

Now a little FYI on BRB…when preparing for Portland, I was reminded of the times we’d hop on the road and head to Lincoln City beach or head to the east side of Oregon or Idaho to visit family, drinking (often warm) orange soda, sitting in the back of the station wagon, counting waterfalls, singing….good times. That’s how this little set came to be.

Today, Melissa is here to show us some awesomeness featuring BRB and Newport XL (Limited Release). And speaking of Newport XL, please remember this is a Limited Release, when they are gone that’s it until perhaps later in the year.

Look at all that stamping! Holy cannoli! There’s even stamping on the index tab, down in the right corner…all of it…amazing! And my favorite is that big bold beautiful XL title on vellum in front of a photo. Dreamy, right?

Here’s Melissa to tell as all about it:

I created this ‘spring break’ overlay/divider using the Newport XL (Limited Release) stamp set, in our Spring Break mini album, using a piece of vellum. My StazOn ink pad is a bit dry and for me that turned into a happy accident, because I really love the way this page turned out. The splotchy ink adds a vintage look, which I’m ‘totally’ here for.  I added the tiny ‘twenty nineteen’ (Time Again)at the bottom of the Spring Break and a tab and stamped some travel theme sentiments on it and that is it. Simply enough.

On the picture of the iconic Venice sign I added a few stamped sentiments, from the Hello Summer stamp set, using white ink.

On the left side, I added this road trip selfie because I just had to use that “On the Road” stamp from the BRB stamp set. It’s so so cute! I also added a few other stamps, on the tab above the picture and on the bottom left, using the same set. I used “Baggage Identification Tag” from the Vacation stamp set to add details about our trip.

Thanks for looking friends. I hope I’ve inspired you to make something fun.
