It’s here! Happy (inter)National Scrapbook Day!

We’ve had some some fantastic projects this week featuring the brand new stamps, have we not? There are soooo many stamp sets in the KBS stock. I can’t believe how lucky I am to get do something like this. It amazes me how it just keeps growing and growing. I’m gonna need a bigger house. Oh. Okay, maybe just a room. ;)

Speaking of all those other stamps, today we have a marvelous showcase of stamp ideas using some of these tried and true stamps. The lovely Miss Marcy is here to show us all her stamping loveliness.

Ahhh…the hand written months of the year. What a fun element. I know many of you are sad not to have the XL (Limited Release) version available, but the regular 4×6 size works great for so many other projects, like on Marcy’s tag here! Size makes a difference, which is why there are two sizes. Words+tags…always my fave. :)

I adore how Marcy added stamped images to preprinted items, like the Adventure tag. It’s a way to get creative with something already created. And all the blocking with the various elements? Perfect.

Here’s Marcy to tell us about it:

Sometimes I just feel like using up some little bits in my stash and enlist the help of a loose collage to get it done.  Stamps can be a great way to fill in the random spaces and add titles when there’s weird spaces to work with.  Here I added some stamps to decorate tags (one blank and one with a printed design) and also to the label.  There’s a lot going on but I love how it all works together.
