Are you a traveler? A sit-by-the-pooler? A mountainer? (ya, it’s a word) Do you enjoy reading, gardening or losing track of time at the lake? All of the above?

We’ve got more good stuff going on with Color Cast Designs and KBS today with Miss Maggie who’s here to tell another story in this fantastic summer album!

The numbers stamped into the pool water with another title on top? I swoon.

(psst…a little sneak peek on those trees. ;) )

I absolutely looooooove the combination of the 2 with the phrase! It’s touches like that that takes the phrase to a whole different level. Wasn’t something I thought of. sigh.

Just diggin’ that vertical date using Chicago and Chicago Etc. accented with Inked!

Oh me, oh my! Isn’t this just simply fantastic? I mean, like literally…she’s done it so simply but totally rocks it! Tiny little touches between stamps and Color Cast wood veneers. I just can’t take it. wow.

Here’s what Maggie has to say:

As soon as I saw the Color Cast Designs acrylic Traveler’s Notebook, I knew exactly what I wanted to document – our summer!

I printed out most of my photos at 4.25″ x 8.25″ and kept the overall design super simple. For bigger projects like this, I try to follow a formula for each page – just to keep things easy – and

I like to repeat patterns using the same stamps (Inked & A Numbered Account are two of my new favorites!) over and over.

The Color Cast wood veneer pieces were the perfect way to add a little texture to my pages, and they give them a definite natural, outdoorsy feel. And the best start? Each veneer is self-adhesive! Just peel off the backing and stick them down…just awesome.
