I admit it. I have a food problem. I don’t necessarily eat tons per se. I eat small amounts throughout the day–but not always what I should be eating. Hence, the size 16 body. ;) I enjoy food and won’t let a Great Wall of Chocolate pass me by when the opportunity presents itself.

My latest obsession and new fave are colby-jack cheese sticks. How hold am I??? When we went to Bend I bought Tillamook cheese squares and boy, did they just hit the spot! I’ve been using cheese as a snack rather than munching a bunch of pretzels or gold fish. Again, how old am I? ;) Just trying to reduce the carb intake. Something about menopause put me into a totally munchie state this past year, like I can’t get enough. So I’ve been trying to curb that by switching to cheese and green olives and ‘good’ popcorn….and things like that. Baby steps. ;)

Oh, and my new favorite food-making machine is my Ninja air fryer that I bought a couple months ago. Why have I not gotten one of these sooner??? Oh my gosh I love that baby! My favorite thing to do is buy the steak tips from Trader Joe’s, give them some spice and add a little butter too and cook them in there. Oh my! So good! We’ve always done steaks on the BBQ–and by ‘we’ I mean Dan (haha). But now I can do steak too! So easy!

If you guys have any great air fryer recipes, please share.
Best invention ever!

So what is your favorite food to eat? Is it a standard or something new? Have you documented it? Take a look what Sheree has done to document a new fave.

Sheree has the most amazing way of adding all the little details that make that take a page from looking good to this is amazing. And those little bits of Inked splatters…sigh. And I do believe that Chicago alphabet is a ‘new fave’ for me. ;)

What a fantastic job Sheree did in capturing her food faves. I think it’s soooo important to document these slices of life, like what we ate or where we went out, include recipes….all of it.

Here’s Sheree to tell us more and show us how it all came together:

I was super excited to play with the new Inked stamp set this month!  The splatters are so awesome and there a so many combinations included in this set!  I love that you can decide exactly where you want your splatters to go and it was so easy to create the subtle effect that I wanted for my background.

I chose some green ink to match my patterned paper, then stamped the title using the cool new Chicago stamp set onto some plain white cardstock before cutting it into a simple tag shape and adding some green twine to the hole.

Next I mixed and matched a few different stamp sets together to create two more pieces for underneath my printed journaling.

“Easy as 1-2-3” from the A Numbered Account stamp set was added to the inside of a stamped green label from the Label Maker set.

I used “100%” from A Numbered Account and “Delicious” from the Found stamp set to create another phrase.  I simply lined them up on my clear block together before stamping them onto the scrap cardstock and cutting them out.

To finish off the second page of the spread, I used the solid “This” stamp and another phrase from the Found stamp set for the top left and bottom right of the photo.  Machine stitching was added to pieces across the spread to create texture.
