Our Oktoberfest: Holiday Style is in full swing and so many of you have been snatching up some great things! As a result, Feast is almost gone and several others are over half gone! Thank you so much for the love!

If any of them sell out before the day is through, they will go to a preorder status so you can still take advantage of the sale.

And might I suggest that if you want them, please do it now or within the reorder if you really want them for your Christmas projects. I’m not sure what the timing of reorders will be as the holidays approach.

Now, what is your favorite part of Thanksgiving? Is it the turkey? Pumpkin Pie? For me, it’s the stuffing. Sure, I love it all, but stuffing is where it’s at!

Next question. Do you always do Thanksgiving the same way? Go to the same place, eat at home, go out for dinner, invite friends and family? What’s your tradition?

Holy pumpkin pie!  (I would have said cannoli, but there’s a Thanksgiving theme goin’ on here.) This is just so much fun. I would love an invitation like that! Love the mix of all that typography. sigh.

Here’s Maggie to tell us how she did it:

I love Thanksgiving. Every single bit of it. And, even though we don’t have a lot of family in the area, I still like to try to make the day extra special and fancy by sending out invitations.

This year I used both my computer and Kerri’s Feast stamps to create the perfect handmade invite. I started by writing out exactly what I wanted the invitation to say…making sure to incorporate as many stamps from the set as I could. Then I created a mock-up of the design using the stamps before I finally sat down at the computer to design the final card. 

I guessed at the line spacing the first time around, printed out the card on a scrap sheet, stamped my chosen phrases and then just made adjustments where needed.

Next, I printed out the card using my Laser printer so that I could add orange foil with my Minc machine. I love the added touch the foil gives the card!

Finally, I added my stamping to each invitation, and I just love the way they turned out.

These invitations came together really quickly…and they can be customized using whatever colors you’d like!

Yup. Love. And if you want, you could also make these using the Digital Feast kit too. But I do like the character that the stamped words bring.
