Thanksgiving is approaching quickly…even more so for the Canadian peeps! Just four days away for y’all!

Got the urge do something a little extra special? Well, it’s a good thing we’re doing our Oktoberfest: Holiday Style because Heba Alsibai is here to show you an absolutely wonderful idea to help with your table decor.

That is a great idea! Kind of reminds me of the utensil bags at Chilis, but soooo much cuter. Look close at all the details going on. Just fabulous. These would be so danged fun to have on the Thanksgiving table. You could even make a Christmas version too!

Here’s Heba to tell us more:

I love the sentiments in this months stamp release. The new Feast stamp set had all the right words for me to create some fun utensil holders for our Thanksgiving table.

For these utensil holders I started by trimming off the top of my brown bag to be able to add my utensils and napkin. Adding a bit of white twine helped soften the bag and add a bit of texture. At first I thought I would stamp | Feast and some leaves from the Feast stamp set | directly on my bag but thought better of it. I really wanted to add a bit of color to my other wise very brown bag. So I trimmed down some grid paper into Instax size cards and stamped my words and sentimental. Then I used some chipboard frames to create a little window for my card. These chipboard frames were the perfect finishing touches for my bag.

These bags were so easy to put together and now we have the perfect decor for our Thanksgiving table.

For my table name tags, I used the | Feast stamp set to stamp the pumpkin and sentiment on my tag. Then used the | Mad About Plaid stamp set to add some pattern to the tag. If you’re creating these tags as name tags make sure you leave plenty of space to add a name.

That’s it!! It was so much fun creating my own table decor for Thanksgiving.
