I am sooooo digging what the girls have been doing with Mad About Plaid during our little Oktoberfest. I’m loving it so much that I just had to share three in a row.

Aren’t these just gorgeous? Fussy cutting the stamped images and pop-dotting them…so perfect. All the little details totally kicks these babies up a notch…make that two…or ten! :)

Here’s a tip. You can stamp a whole ‘sheet’ of the plaid and divi it up for multiple elements to use on more than one card or tag. Not sure if Sheree did that or not here, buuuut she could-a. :)

When I saw the cute little car in the Wonderland stamp set I knew I had a make a card and add a little tree on top! First up I stamped the Mad About Plaid stamp across the bottom of the card front in black ink and added some stitching. I cut a tag shape, stitched around the edge and added ribbon and twine to the top. I stamped the car, the tree and two sentiments onto scrap white cardstock, then fussy cut and adhered them to the tag with foam tape to add dimension.  The finished tag was then adhered to the card front and it was done!

For the second card I really wanted to play with the sweet set of trees in the stamp set.  The Mad About Plaid background was used down the left side of the card and stitching added around the edge.  I stamped the trees in green onto scrap cardstock and fussy cut them out.  I also stamped the tiny star in red and the “Merry Christmas” words in black and cut them out too .  The stamped pieces were then added to the card front with foam tape.

I love that you could create a whole bunch of these cards in no time at all to send out to friends and family!  To save time you could also skip the fussy cutting and stamp straight onto the card front. So fun!
