It’s the first of the month…and November to boot! Just two months left in this year. Where has the time gone?

Well, I guess there’s not much that we can do about the year, but we can have some fun in the little time we have left of 2019 with some brand new stamps, right? :)

Here are today’s newbies!

 

 

Wild was inspired by [somewhat] recent events, camping and traveling to fun outdoor–and wild– destinations. I know it’s not the typical time of year for such a stamp, but it couldn’t be helped. The brain goes where it wants and that’s what happen when it does. :)

With Happiness Captured, I wanted just a set of super usable feelin’-good phrases to tuck here, there and everywhere. Lots of moments to capture that happiness goin’ on.

And Diagonally? (I can’t say it without thinking of Harry Potters, Diagon Alley. haha) Loooooove this little design!

Now how’s about we take a look at some of these goodies on this spread from Miss Melissa.

 

 

 

Okay, there is so much goin’ on here with KBS goodies and it’s just all sorts of subtle and fab. Melissa has a way of doing that. The backgrounds mixed with text is awesome!

Here’s Melissa to tell us about it.

Hi Friends! I’m working hard to finish all my summer documentation. This is the last spread to complete in this Traveler’s Notebook and I knew I wanted to use the newly released stamp, Wild. It’s such a great stamp and really so versatile.  

I created another flip out in my Traveler’s Notebook, something I tend to because I want to use every single picture I take. It’s a problem. 

For the front, I used a large black and white 4″x8″ picture. I stamped some sentiments that went perfectly with this picture, that I was so lucky to capture of my kids. I did some quick digital journaling on the right side of the layout. Stamped those trees (IN GREEN!) and a few other stamps. I love that Kerri added that Outdoor definition, that I used at the bottom of my journaling, to this stamp set. 

Inside, I created a grid with pictures and tags using stamps from the Wild stamp set. For the circle tag down on the bottom right, I used a John Muir quote Kerri has in her shop (here). I cut it in a circle placed it on top of a square tag I stamped with the Diagonally stamp.  For the right side, I used a 3×4″ picture with some quick layering and journaling about the photos in the grid and used a few more stamps from the Wild set. 

It feels so good to have this project done. I loved working with these new stamp sets and I always love and appreciate how quickly Kerri’s stamps help my layouts come together so smoothly.
