It’s such a great feeling when you’re twisting and turning on a road through the forest, light and shadows dancing here and there, windows and top rolled down, and you have your hand out gliding through the air.

Can you feel it?

That’s what I felt as we drove to Proxy Falls outside of Bend Oregon. I felt like we were on a ride at an amusement park and I guess we kind of were…nature’s amusement park. It was a beautiful ride!

And that is in part how the Wild stamp set came together and therefore, had to be used here. :)

 

 

I also used the Diagonally stamp set to make some decorative paper.

 

 

Here’s a little tip.

I have to admit it can be a little awkward trying to pull up those full 4×6 background stamps. I like the background stamps, but that pulling can be a little annoying. So with this one I thought I’d try just leaving it on the plastic stamp backing, which is somewhat sturdy, set it on my paper and then run my fingers over it.

Worked, pretty darn good! I find with these full stamps that a thinner block or using something like a Misti gives me the best results. When I’ve put it on a thicker block, say 1″ thick vs. 1/2″ thick, it’s harder for me to get a good impression. The thinner blocks and Misti work so much better. We’ll see how using the others with only the backing works, because gosh, I’d so prefer not pulling it up. :)
