The only time I seem to do pocket page scrapbooking (aka, Project Life) is at Christmas. Sometimes trips.

So not only do I like creating cards to use, I loooove seeing them get used! :)

Take a look at this bit of gorgeousness from Sheree using today’s Merry Little Christmas set.

 

 

 

 

Be still my ever-lovin’ heart…I love those hand-drawn loopy trees printed on vellum! And the stitching on the striped card. swoon. Talk about all things merry and bright. This is just beautiful.

Here’s what Sheree has to say:

I’ve used the Merry Little Christmas cards for Day 4 in my December Album.  I printed the red text card and striped card at normal size, then decided to enlarge the tree card to create a full sized vellum page for my 6 x 8 inch album.

I used Photoshop to make the vellum page the right size, erased the feint card border and printed it straight onto vellum.  I cut the page to size, punched holes down the side then adhered some confetti gold stars to the tops of the trees. 

For the facing pocket page, I stamped the number using the Outnumbered (Two) stamp set and embossed with gold glitter embossing powder.  I cut the number out, adhered it to the red text card with foam dots and added a gold star.

The journaling was printed, cut to size and machine stitching was added as a border.  I stamped the phrase from the “Looks Like Christmas” stamp set onto plain white cardstock and embossed it with gold glitter embossing powder.  The phrase was then cut out and added above the journaling with a line of machine stitching. 

For the striped card, I added machine stitching across the middle of each stripe.  I used my Silhouette to cut the “JOY” word from the Tiny Christmas Tags file, punched it into a circle shape and added some gold glitter vinyl in behind.  The joy circle tag was then adhered to the striped card with foam dots.

The Merry Little Christmas cards were so fun to use and I love the colours in this spread!
