Alright. You guys have completely blown me away from your excitement and love for the new ‘block’ themed stamps! In case you didn’t hear, Block of Time and Printers Block | Numbers both sold out within twelve hours…and that was with more inventory than what I usually order. Whoa.

If you’re thinking you’ve missed out, think again. :) You can be a part of the preorder that will be shipping around February 1. If you’d like to be assured of a stamp set, please place an order sooner rather than later–and if you do it today, you can still save 10% on the Printers Block sets. Most 6×8 stamp sets are Limited Releases and only make an appearance a couple times a year rather than being in stock. It’s just not cost effective to keep them in stock. Sorry ’bout that.

Okay. I am such a fan of the paper bits! All those stamping details in both title and decorative paper bits is just fab! And mixing the year with the ‘hello’ from Tagged? gasp.

Here’s Melissa to tell us all about it:

Happy New Year, crafty friends!!  I’m so excited to have these new stamps to get me started on this years memory keeping. 

As usual, I kept my spread basic. On the right side of my spread, I used a full size family photo, measuring at 4″x8″. On the top right of my photo, I created a cluster of banner tags, using scrap pieces of paper and a couple different stamp sets, including the 2020 from the Block of Time stamp set, and stitched that on to my photo. 

On the left, after typing up my journaling, I went ahead and did some more stamping.  I was looking for something a bit taller to fill the white space so I went ahead and stamped out JAN with the Printers Block | Letters stamp set, directly on the same sheet of paper as my journaling. To add a bit of dimension to this side of my spread, I added some washi tape at the top left, stamped out the 2020, on a scratch piece of paper, cut it out, layered it on top of the washi and stitched it to the pace so it could act more of an embellishment rather than a flat stamp (if that makes sense). I also added some stitching between my journaling and monthly title. 

These new stamps are so versatile, an instant classic, in my book. The possibilities are endless.
