There’s nothing I love more than getting to spend time with my family. I love having date nights or trips with the hubs, playing games with the kids, running away with them on a little vaca, just hanging around talking…you name it! It’s my favorite place to be.

So when I get little opportunities to be with them, I take full advantage and am grateful for every moment.

That’s what I love about this spread from Sheree. Just she and her hubs, headed to the beach for a morning coffee. Taking an ordinary task and making it even more of a personal moment. And really, wouldn’t you rather be relaxing by the beach? :)

As soon as I saw the new stamps for this month I knew I had just the photos for them!  Even though I live in Australia, the Florida stamp set has so many stamps that I can use from the phrases to the palm trees!  I know I’ll be reaching for this set time and time again.  For this spread, I’ve also used the new Block of Years set along with Borderlines, Me & You and PNW sets. 

I decided on a small photo on the first page and a full sized photo for the other. I layered the ‘me & you” stamps with the larger palm tree for the title and I love how this turned out!  The ampersand stamp was adhered to the page with foam dots to add dimension.

Under the photo and journaling I added the phrases “Life is Good” from the Block of Years set and “here with you” from Me & You. 

The long stamp from the Borderlines stamp set was stamped with green ink, cut in half longways and positioned across the bottom of each page.

For the full sized photo I added the icon from the PNW stamp set and the phrase underneath is from the Florida stamp set.  To finish off the page I added lots of machine stitching.
