It’s funny. You’d think that being ‘stuck’ at home that there wouldn’t be much to document. Much of the time spent does seem to be the same bit of nothingness each day, but I’m trying to make an effort to document even the little things–like spring or the new foods we are trying or what local restaurants we’re picking to support each week. We pick twice–generally on Tuesdays and Fridays just because we feel it’s important…and tasty. ;)
I’m always a happy camper when I can actually get a week done right away. I’m still struggling with getting pages done in a timely fashion. Oddly, it seems that so many of you are putting your COVID time in to crafting and for me, I can barely even work with everyone at home let alone craft…and they are all adults. ;)
Alas, I got a spread done. This past week I had quite a few photos that I took and actually had a bit to say, so this page is very clean to accommodate that.
I used Label Maker with my favorite date stamp. I had this notion to want include the ‘week of’ dates and so I used a slash between month and day and a dash between the two days. Perfect!
Since I had several photos, I used a photo template from Travelers Templates #3. I decided I wanted them moved down a little, so I selected all the layers and nudged them down.
For the right page, I printed my journaling on cardstock, leaving a place for my photo and space for a hand-drawn leafy stamp (coming Monday!).
Keeping it simple and getting it done.
boom.
