This is always a super fun time of year, I must say.

I wish I could have had some reorders in for this time, but you can only do what you can do with COVID. My stamp guy can’t get his product from California, so it’s a no-go with new or reordered stamps for me right now.

That being said, it’s a good thing I usually run ahead of the game, because I got these babies pre-COVID days and today we have five new stamp sets!

Let’s talk a little about the Denali stamps. I wanted a simple serif that was somewhat tall and stately for projects….aaaaand then of course I needed a smaller version too. :) As with all 6×8 stamp sets, they are Limited Release because it’s not cost effective to keep them in stock, so this is a limited release for Denali XL. It’ll probably make another appearance later in the year.

Denali XL and its number companion are 1.7″ tall and .9″ wide. Denali and its number companion are are 1.2″ tall and .6″ wide. It’s weird, you wouldn’t think a half inch would make a difference in appearance, but it does!

And now the one I’m most excited about is Nature Lover! Not only have I wanted a bunch of leafy elements to add behind or on top of a title or for a border or for so many other things, but I wanted the opportunity of actually drawing them. I used my iPad Pro + Pencil within Procreate to doodle all these fun little guys!

Please note, if the May stamps sell out in the first two days, it will not go to preorder to take advantage of the sale price because I don’t know when production will resume.

Now, all this week the KBS Creative Team is sharing some ideas using the Lay It All Out: Travelers Notebook kit that was released in January. You can read all about these babies HERE. I thought it might be a fun twist to doing sketches…because they are kind of like a sketch, but different.

The short version is primarily they were designed to cut on a Silhouette or Cricut to make documenting in a travelers notebook super easy. Here’s an example from that previous post.

But like with most things, they can be used for so much more! And this gorgeous group of girls will be sharing some outstanding ideas all week long.
