Or perhaps it’s more of a rectangle. ;)

What I love about the Lay It All Out templates is how you can quickly pull a page together by simply filling in the spaces with fluff, journaling, titles, photos or whatever tickles your fancy. It’s so easy to assess your needs, then just draw some lines, print your photos, write the journaling and place some elements.

Each little square is just a nugget of goodness. So much eye candy…details…but it’s all laid out so nicely that each square shines. And I love that she combined two templates. Just awesome! Oh, and using a typewriter in the squares? Perfection.

Happy National Scrapbook Day, friends!

If you’re like me you probably admire the new memory keeping in a planner trend OR you just love to use grids when you have lots of pictures you just have to use all at once for one project. The only problem for me is I’m a die hard Traveler’s Notebook girl. We know how compact Traveler’s Notebook are. Well, leave it to Kerri to come up with a solution for that. 

I finally had a chance to work with Kerri’s Layout it All Out Traveler’s Notebook Kit. She’s come up with all these templates to use in our Traveler’s Notebooks. All I had to do was choose the templates I wanted to work with and cut them with my Silhouette using heavyweight cardstock for durability.

For this project, I chose to work with templates C & D. I traced the design on to a blank piece of cardstock and started to fill in the blanks. I wanted to use my typewriter for my journaling so that is the reason I used a separate piece of paper but you could easily use these templates directly on the Traveler’s Notebook papers. These templates are so adaptable. If you don’t want journaling in a certain spot, just don’t trace the lines in that area. So easy. So fun. 

I used the templates to help me create a wrap up of our Spring Break this year. I love the assortment of colorful pictures, tags and stamps I was able to use for this project. So much fun in such a compact space. I hope you give these fun templates a try.
