How is that one who seemingly has nothing to do can have a week full of pictures and goings-ons? I document daily-ish via photo or words on my phone. When the week is over I put them into an album. It’s amazing to look back and actually see what I experienced for the week even though it was nothing rather earth-shattering….well, except the time we actually had an earthquake. haha

We think our lives overall as doing boring day-to-day tasks, but I can tell you, your posterity will treasure every bit they have to get to know you! Life changes in small ways most of the time. Keep record. When I was growing up, microwaves, VCRs, remote controls, even hand-held calculators…those were just barely coming into our lives! Personal computers made an appearance when I was in college. Technology just by itself changes constantly.

I’ve not been as good about keeping daily words written as I used to be, but I will take a photo to remind myself of something that happened that day. Which leads me to today’s page. Tiny little things that when you add it all up, made for a very ‘big’ week. Who knew?

Because I had so much to write about (what??), I opted to use some of the spaces to type my journaling. When you purchase the Lay It All Out kit, there are page ideas with photo placement sizes. You can use that size as a reference to make a text box for printing your journaling. I also opted to combine the three flower photos together and separate it with washi rather than draw a line.

I tried using a pale grey highlighter to make the lines on the left page and it didn’t work very well, so I opted to leave the pencil lines on the right until I can find a better way to make a grey line. I decided I liked the idea of pale grey here better than black lines.

I used Template C to pencil my lines (D is the left page). I always lightly pencil first because this girl has been known to change her mind. Have I said how much I love pencils? ;) I used the bottom horizontal line as a guideline to align the top edge of my wash tape. I added small leaf accents from Nature Lover, ‘The Week Of’ stamp from Block of Headlines and the spring definition stamp from The Nature of Spring.

Keeping it simple, getting it done…I always say. :)

Remember, your life is never ordinary. Don’t ever think differently. It is worth remembering and sharing.

And one more thing, if you’ve not watched Detectorists, you should (on Prime and Acorn). We found it so quirky, calming, and witty. It is British, so expect the f-word on occasion, but it’s not bad. Dan and I have found nothing else to compare to this show. There was just something about it. We loved it! If you’ve watched it, let me know what you think.
