The hardest part about these quarantine weeks is the fact that you really can’t go anywhere or do anything. Dan is the designated shopper in the house, so I don’t even have that. ;) Although, I did go to Costco Saturday and Target a couple weeks before that. Other than that, I’ve pretty much been at home.

But that hasn’t stopped me from enjoying the simplicities of being outside. We finally started having beautiful weather and all I want to do is sit outside and work, visit, read a book, take the dog for a walk, take a drive up the mountains…anything to breathe in all that fresh air and soak up the warm sunshine.

The week of April 27 was…well, I almost said breathing heavy, but didn’t think that would sound right. haha But it was highly focused on getting to breathe in all parts of life.

I really wanted room for my page to ‘breathe’ as well, so I opted to put more photos and journaling within a flap that had a single photo and journaling that focused on the ‘breathe’ theme.

I know my lilacs aren’t lilac, but I loved playing with the ‘artistic’ approach this year. You know, mixing it up, because I always take pictures of the lilacs. ;)

I used the Denali stamps to create my title, stamping over the photo as well. I also used stamps from Eat on the inside photo. A little tag flap made from Label Maker and a phrase from a discontinued set rounded up the page.

And I am in looooove with that date stamp from 1canoe2!!! That is a type style I use so often. Simple. Clean. Perfect.

Now, I’m off to sit outside again. Totally soaking it all up before it gets too hot and I won’t want to sit outside anymore. ;)
