What does that mean, you may ask?

That means it’s time for the One Day Monday Summer Freebie! Yay! Each Monday there will be a new design available for that day only (ends midnight Mountain Time).

This is always a fun time of year for me. :)

Today, Miss Sheree is showing off the first Monday Freebie, Here We Go, using the digital file.

Oh my! Love all the little details going on here! How cute is that date tag from Today’s The Day?! All of it. Amazing.

Here’s Sheree to tell us about it:

The Here We Go file was the perfect title for this spread about us heading off on our camping trip!  I used a full sized 6 x 8 inch photo for the first page and added the “Here We Go” file over the top in Photoshop.  I changed it to white and dropped the opacity to give it a more translucent look.

At the bottom of the page I used one of the new Today’s The Day printables…such a fun way to add the date to the page and something a little different to a normal date stamp!  Under the date is a diagonal striped strip from the Paradise Traveler’s Pack printables which I changed to a green colour.  I added stitching for a little texture.

For the second page of the spread I stitched around the edge of the white cardstock background, positioned my 6 x 4 inch photo at the bottom of the page then adhered another one of the diagonal striped strips across the top of the photo.  My printed journaling was adhered above the photo. 

I stamped the car from the Iconic stamp set in green and the Road Trip stamp from the Roam stamp set in black onto white cardstock before cutting them out to add to the page.  I added a printed phrase from the Paradise Traveler’s Pack to the bottom of the photo, then added more stitching to finish off the spread.
