Hello June!

Can you believe it’s actually June?? Where has this time gone? You’d think with having to stay home during COVID that life would drag on forever–and it has to some degree, but it’s really gone by so fast!

This has been an insane year for sure. When you think things can’t get worse, they do. How my heart is breaking by all those affected by the events surrounding George Floyd, especially for people of color. I don’t understand the hate in people’s hearts…that cruelty. I’ve had my own personal experiences with people being racist and then standing  up to them for what I know is right. I’ve heard ugliness to be sure and it’s not something I let go by the wayside. All I keep thinking is, Why can’t we all just love one another? How hard is that, really?

Compassion.
Love.
Understanding.
Be kind to all.
It’s a start.
It’s not hard.
Really.

It’s kind of hard to segue from that into what we have going on today, but let’s end this post with some positivity. :)

Today there’s a brand new One Day Monday Summer Freebie ‘snippet’ kit called Summer Mix.

 

 

I love having these little bits of typographic papers to print and add to a page. It’s all just generally ‘summer’ themed. Nothing ‘travel’ on there, not that they couldn’t be used for travel. I just felt like with our current ‘at home’ conditions, that this is more universal for these times.

Also, there’s a ‘summer’ version for those in the southern part of the hemisphere too, with the summer months listed as December, January, and February.

One last note, please remember to be kind to one another. Show some love. Try to make the world a better place even just by starting with where you are. Be an example. Speak up. It can have a ripple affect. Even if it makes only a small change somewhere…it’s worth it.
